LYNXXX BARCO DATA 800 SCREENSHOTSThis page is outdated. New content will follow soon Update: translated into english. Below are a couple of old (2002) screenshots of my Barco Data 800 projecting on a DIY screen of 2.40 metres wide. The dots in the lower right part of the photo's is from my barco reflecting in my TV screen which was on the floor at the time. These shots were made prior to the ceiling mount adventure. The video source consisted of my Barco Data 800 connected to a Dell Precision 530 workstation with an Asus V7700 (NVIDIA) videocard. DVD decoding was done with Powerdvd (software DVD player) at a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. I used powerstrip to define this resolution and set custom refresh rates and negative sync. The Dell was connected to Port 5 on the Barco using a high-quality VGA to RGBHV 5-BNC cable. Quite a few changes have taken place since, so I will add updated pics as soon as possible. ![]() Crying Freeman R2 Special Edition. Closeup van "Emu O'hara". This DVD has an absolutely stunning image quality (as opposed to the regular R1 and R2 (Fullscreen stereo!) versions. You can order it at www.cinestore.com ![]() Another screenshot of Crying Freeman. This one clearly shows that bow & keystone were not setup properly yet. Convergence and colors however look great. The dragon tatoo almost jumps off the screen. ![]() A close-up of the Marcello's flea from the amazing "City of the Lost Children" (La Cite Des Enfants Perdus) movie by Jeunet and Caro. This is one of my favorite movies and according to many one of the most beautiful movies ever made (i agree). This is the R1 version. ![]() City of the Lost Children "One" (Ron Perlman). ![]() The almost obligatory Final Fantasy screenshot. Probably a benchmark in CRT land by now:) ![]() Closeup of Aki Ross in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Here you can find a full-size picture of this screenshot ![]() The Fifth Element - Superbit Edition. Once you see this disc on a CRT projector, you'll never settle anything less. Trust me. ![]() And finally, one of my IMAX DVD's. Great scenery :-) © Copyright 2004 Lynxxx. Read terms & conditions prior to linking to this site in (online) auctions or classifieds!!. |
