OBTAINING PARTS

Okay, before you guys start sending me a million emails again. I do NOT sell any Barco parts, projectors or other hardware related to this device. Please read the previous sentence 20 times before sending me email.
Now that we got that out of the way lets talk about parts. A Barco CRT projector is only cool if it works so I guess it would be informative if I'd include some info about obtaining parts :-).

Where do I find the part number for my broken stuff?
Consult the manuals in the download section. You should be able to find most info there. I do not posess any magical part list that is not on the website, so don't bother emailing me about it. I don't have it :-)

Where can I buy the FETs?
Once again, I don't sell any. Some online electronics and semiconductor suppliers do still carry this part from time to time. My local electronics shop happened to have a few, so I bought all the remaining ones I could find just in case another might die on me later. I suggest you do the same.

Where can I buy other parts such as the amplifier boards?
Your best bet is probably the people at avsforums, htforum.nl or Curt Palme (curtpalme.com) OR as is the case with all stuff thats cool and not directly available in regular shops: EBAY

Please do not, I repeat NOT email me about questions on how to use eBay or any items on it. The stuff that is offered is not mine, I don't know the sellers, I don't know if they are trustworthy so I am afraid you're on your own on that one. Ebay is known for auction scams/frauds with expensive projectors & parts, so be careful. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is exactly that.

Dutch user may find the things they need on marktplaats.nl from time to time, although that site usually lists complete projectors for sale. I haven't seen much parts on it lately.
